Mr. McCarl joined the Durango office of Maynes, Bradford, Shipps and Sheftel, LLP in 2017. He practices in the areas of water, property and environmental law.
Prior to joining the firm, Dan acted as Staff Attorney for a national non-profit organization where his work focused on federal public land law and policy. He also clerked for the Environment & Natural Resources Division of the U.S. Department of Justice.
Dan grew up in Denver and is a proud 4th generation Coloradan. Outside of work, he enjoys hiking, fishing and exploring the nearby San Juan Mountains and Utah desert.
